The European Commission is organizing a second Startup Scaleup accelerator programme for European start-ups. The period for applications is open until 13 May. The programme aims to find start-ups developing activities related to the Internet of things (IoT) and mobile services (sensor networks, internet-connected robots, smart cities, e-health, industry 4.0, etc.).

The initiative is free of charge and the programme offers training in international expansion, marketing, investment and technology. Start-ups can join the programme from their place of origin or travel to one of the four accelerator centres in EU countries: Amsterdam, Cartagena, Dublin or Vilnius.

The start-ups selected will take part in international events where they can network with investors and large corporations from the IoT sector. They will also form part of the Startup Europe enterprise ecosystem which currently has 49 start-ups in 28 European countries.

Interested companies can sign up via this link. More information on the programme is also available from the official website and in this promotional video.
