This international event is organized every two years by Airbus in collaboration with Unesco. It calls on university students studying bachelor's, master's, MBA or doctoral degrees in any discipline to present innovative projects for the future of sustainable aviation. These projects can involve technology, engineering, business models, processes or designs to improve passenger experiences, optimization of manufacturing or reduction of waste.
The winning team will receive 30,000 euros and the runners-up, 15,000 euros. To take part, you need to follow the instructions and sign up on the website before 31 August. The teams, of between three and five students, have to get through three rounds to select the finalists by early May 2017. During this process, participants can join the online communities with experts from Airbus, mentors, academics and students from around the world. For more information, visit the competition's website.
