This invention relates to a system for the assembly and measurement of electronic circuits aimed at the technical sector. One example of its application is for use as an electronic circuits study aid for a variety of devices and assemblies built in teaching laboratories. Specifically, the system consists of a hardware platform that, when connected to a PC, offers, at a low cost, the functionalities of a traditional electronics laboratory: circuit assembly, testing, measurement procedure, signal acquisition, etc. The project is headed up by UOC Faculty of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunications lecturer, Germán Cobo.
This system represents a breakthrough for electronic circuit assembly and measurement systems in an academic environment, as it successfully solves the issue of having to combine external elements for measurements and other functions; offers a low-cost option in comparison to the equipment currently in existence; avoids the constrictions imposed by proprietary software; and, due to being small, allows student mobility.
